With my new lifestyle just around the corner, the excitement is building and things are getting pretty busy in the PowerBook Producer’s world! Many things to plan, organise and orchestrate, not to mention the ongoing commitment to the songcast. Today gave rise to song 015 of the series and this weeks song is really simple, heartfelt and very rough & ready, which is great. I’m well pleased with how it came out. It just sums up my feeling and mood for this week.

This may be a simple song, but the reason it is so rough & ready is that it was actually quite hard for me to play in anything approaching a refined way, which is the way it is supposed to be I guess. What more can you do with 3 chords?

The studio is back to full strength too with my technical problem solved. Soon though, parts of the studio will be making their way to the other side of the world on a boat, so I’ll have to improvise a little with the recording method again, but hey! Nothing is impossible with The Weekly Songcast. In fact things are a doddle!
