This song came very quickly in the middle of a pretty productive day songwriting only yesterday. I was thinking about my friends back in my home country.
It’s about two friends: One likes exploring new things and can’t stay put for too long, while the other one like things the way they are and isn’t interested in going to faraway places for too long, but despite their widely different preference they are best of friends.
That’s it really a simple song about friendship having no geographical restrictions. Today with the internet and all the sophisticated methods of communication available, this is even more true.
Living so far away from many friends, a regular form of communication for me are the songs here at The WSC, so to all my friends everywhere. Thanks for everything and here’s to all of you.
Without Saying Goodbye
If you are going away for a while and you don’t get a chance to say farewell to a friend, make sure you contact them at some point soon after you arrive. You will notice the difference in how you feel, believe me. Also with all the ways of contacting someone available to you, like the internet, mobile phones etc… there is no excuse.
Enjoy!

proof that the best songs are the simple ones. I can hear you singing this while packing your bags.
this one really connects – full of positivity and exitement.
this one’s up there with the best of them.
I always love that. You write a song that is so quick and effortless and it’s easy to dismiss it’s value because of it. Somehow it seems that all of us are programmed to value things that have to be “suffered” to achieve.
Effortless is the way forward!
