Back fighting fit. Well nearly. The last week’s slump has knocked my momentum and I haven’t been very productive, although I still think it has been good for me to take this time and reflect on whether all the things I am doing are resulting in overall productivity or not. I have uncovered quite a truth recently too. I am not really focused on any one thing in particular and my results are unpredictable, which is a dead giveaway by the way if you experience results in such a haphazard way. I recommend if you do to look into where your focus is day to day. You’ll find an exact correlation between that and what you keep getting, trust me!

OK so this week’s song comes at the right time to help put some awareness into where my focus is and to then work out where I want it to be. I suffered a couple of setbacks in the week; results I didn’t want and it put me down for a while, so I was able to see that I was focusing on being a victim of circumstance, which will only give rise to more outcomes just like it. At time like these I always go back to Napoleon Hill. He said "Every adversity carries with it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit". Even when I can’t see the benefit I trust it is there, I am grateful for it and somewhere down the line I do notice how I was to benefit, so the lesson to learn here is just never to let anything outside of you stop you trying.

What you touch turns to gold… or to dust
You are blessed with the ability to choose your attitude in any situation at the beginning of any process. It is that attitude that will determine the outcome if it is maintained. An attitude of low self esteem or disbelief will, unsurprisingly yield a result close to your initial thoughts and fears. "Whether you believe you can or can’t… You are right": Henry Ford.
