I have already written a post about this today over at Boy at Heart, so if you want to read it you can go there while you are listening to this week’s song!

In short I’ve got a new dog called Bam Bam and he is a real character and gets up to all sorts of mischief including a recent episode where he was regularly visiting the neighbour’s house to have a poo! Yep, he’s a naughty fella, but he is a dog and he had his tackle snipped too when he was a tiny pup, so I guess he’s got to find a way of having some fun somehow!

This song was not actually written about Bam Bam. I wrote it before I got him, but it seems like a good opportunity to actually post a picture that is almost relevant to the song for a change. I’m taking a break from sharing insights this week and just posting a fairly light and easy song and a nice little message to say that I think my dog is great. Of course he has no idea I said that, but if he did, he’d probably say… "Stop being so soft… Can I have some chicken!"

Yes you can be the top dog if you want to be. Are you ready for the responsibility though? It’s a big one! Actually I’ve just thought how apt that is what with the US elections being round the corner. Who’s gonna be the top dog? What do you think?
