This is a live recording, like most of the songs from 2008, with added E-bow electric guitar. This feels like the right song for this week, not that it is a Valentine’s song, but it is a love song. It’s a true story too and it’s one of those songs that just feels right.
I am still writing songs as part of the FAWM challenge and this is one of those songs. The time passes, the more I feel that writing songs is my number one passion, even if I don’t feel in the mood to do it every day. I am starting to get more and more interest in my music in the way I have always hoped, so the dream of doing this for a living is beginning to materialize.
The period of time alluded to in this song is at the core of what changed my life to put me where I am right now, so it is also fitting that everything feels like it is coming together at the time of this song being written.

I have got pretty used to my humble recording setup and I have refined the process of my productions to a point that I think I squeeze every last drop of sonic goodness that I can from such a system.
I would love to upgrade, but I feel it will only be worthwhile if I upgraded big time… like to a full blown pro-studio setup, which I have every intention of doing.
