No Turning Back!
Well despite the poor recording (it is only a rough version) this song is very apt this week. I have made one or two big decisions about what I am doing and I am upping my game on all levels, especially in the area of putting myself out there and developing relationships with people. It is time I stepped up to the plate and started actually honoring my talents and intentions 100%, which I am now doing.
Things like procrastination and distraction are factors that I am just going to overcome and deal with. The main thing is that I feel success now, so it is only a matter of time for my work to pay off. New commitments and support from a group of amazing new friends that I know will keep me accountable for those commitments are key, so I am very grateful for the fact that I have those right now. It makes all the difference to how I feel.
This is the thing. It may be obvious to some of you already, but really I think the most important factor in succeeding, especially in a business sense and definitely long-term is having that input form others. Guidance, coaching, mentoring – call it what you want and added to that, just moral support and honest feedback.
If you have what appears to be everything in place, like a solid business idea, for example, a plan and intention and a burning desire, but you are feeling a bit stuck or powerless then this is all you need. Go find some people who resonate with what you do and who you are, people who have identified and are following their passions and people who want to support you in your cause.
If you use Twitter for example and haven’t really seen the point of it yet or you don’t get round to using it much then I suggest you do, especially if you are looking to step up your own game. The secret (well one of them) is finding people who can help you because no matter what you might want to believe, you can’t do it all by yourself. Not if you want to last and certainly not if you want to grow and thrive.
You can start by following me: boyatheart on Twitter, get to know me on there and start following some of the amazing people that I do. It’s not Twitter that will change your life directly, but it is your commitment to finding like minds and generous minds. The point is, if you want to live the life of your dreams then you have to reach out. It took me long enough to learn that lesson, so I share it with you now to save you some time.
