Another year is over. 2008 has to have been the fastest-passing year I can remember. It has also without a shadow of a doubt been the best year of my life. Extraordinary things have taken place and I feel truly blessed and grateful for my whole life.
So this is the last song of the year, so I thought it would be good to make a statement along the lines of my intentions for 2009. I have nowhere near peaked yet. I do believe I am still on an upward trend in terms of my songwriting ability. 2009, I have decided will eclipse 2008 in terms of being a good year. I talk about desire backed by faith and a certainty of success a lot in my posts, both here and at The Neural Recon Report, but now I am actually feeling that rather than just getting the principle at an intellectual level.
In reference to an earlier WSC song, I feel it In My Bones. So what else for 2009? I have a list as long as my arm of projects that I want to get moving, but what’s great is that I noticed recently that all these projects are like modules of a bigger, greater cause and they all fit together rather nicely. It means that by focusing on one of my projects I won’t feel uncomfortable about neglecting another because now I can view all of them as steps in one overall, life project.
I know I have spent much of 2008 talking about me here at the WSC, which I apologize for if that gets boring, but I also think that by sharing what I experience and writing about stuff the in the style that is most natural for me is the best way for me to keep creating content. My goal is still to inspire a belief that by making simple choices based on your passion in life and not what you think is expected of you by others is possible. I feel compelled to help, if I can for other people to achieve something they dream about and to experience the feelings I have already had during 2008.
