Things Are About to Change
The frequency with which I remember that I haven’t posted the week’s song just as I am going to bed, just before deadline is increasing and this tells me one thing. Something needs to change. I need to grow and breakthrough into something greater than I currently am.
I can’t hide the fact that the Weekly Songcast hasn’t progressed quite as I had hoped. There are not many comments made here and not many visitors, which after a year and a half of doing it means that I must be falling woefully short somewhere in creating some interest or compelling content.
I believe in what I do, but I am starting to wonder if it is of any relevance or interest to anyone else and I would like to think that I can do something that does have some value to someone else.
I am at a crossroads. I am starting to get excited more about using multimedia online and I am developing some ideas for using video and creating ways to help teach other people about… er, stuff! I am not sure how much longer the Weekly Songcast is going to continue, at least in this format. Who knows? I may have a flash of inspiration and transform it into something I know it could be (but haven’t figured out yet). I think whatever happens, even if this stops at some point, it may be cool to leave it here as a reminder of my journey since deciding to write songs by myself.
My story doesn’t end there though. I am going to put more focus into the Boy@Heart name as a brand and telling my story over at www.boyatheart.com. I have a lot to share that I believe can help other people change their lives, just like I did by making certain decisions and choosing a certain viewpoint about certain things. I know how good it feels to achieve these personal successes and I think it is important for everyone to experience that for themselves or there’s not much point in being here is there?
So enjoy this weeks song. It is about the fact that you have already achieved the life of your dreams. All you need to do is shift your perspective and you will see all the things in your life that are just the way you want them. Focus on those and not only will that make you feel better, it will also allow you to be in the right frame of mind to make all the things you want to happen, happen.
I am at a point where I have to make some very big decisions. I am terrified, but also extremely excited at the prospect of how amazing the outcome could be depending on my decision. In fact a similar feeling to where I was when I published Being Brave
