I am in a situation right now. The situation is that I have realized that I want to do more things than I have got time to do and it is really frustrating having to put any of these things on hold while I focus on one thing at a time. Of course focus is the order of the day and without it I will get to do none of the things I want to do, so as long as I keep on doing something I want to do I will have to trust that I will get to experience all the things I want to in due course.

Knowing this doesn’t make it any easier to accept though and because I have been totally focused on recording my album I have neglected my website activity for a while. Still this is only temporary and I haven’t forgotten the Weekly Songcast. Recording of the album “All in a Life’s Work” is taking over my life at the moment. I have more time for it now, seeing as I’m not breaking off to write and record new songs for the 50/90 challenge, but I still have a way to go. It will be vocals as of Monday 6th October. The biggest part! The good news is that the album is already half mixed because I have been mixing it I go, so this means that there is less work to do than appears and I am very happy with how it sounds

With all this in mind I suppose this week’s song is pretty topical. Just as long as I keep going then things will come together. I believe that just about the biggest thing that stops people from success and achievement is giving up for any reason. sounds obvious doesn’t it? So why do so many of us give up at some point or another if it is such an obvious fact. Maybe we’re all too good at seeing the mistakes others make and not our own.

My ear is better. I have been on antibiotics for a week, which I didn’t like because they made me feel very tired and I couldn’t drink any beer… even with ice!

Keep On Walking
Whatever you do just keep on walking. I think I’ve said it before, but I have found that the best way to really get something is through repetition until it gets right into the bones, so I will say it again. You may be closer to success than you think, so just keep going and have faith in yourself to create the outcome you desire.
