Mark this day in your journals people. Today is the first day of a new era of The Weekly Songcast! For your listening pleasure is the first "finished" song to debut on The Weekly Songcast. It’s song number 51 in the series, so that means that it has come early. I was intending to up the ante after the first anniversary, but just like the beginning of the WSC back on December 30th 2007 I decided to be just ahead of schedule.
I also happen to think this is one of the best songs I have done so far. At least as far as being catchy. This one really rocks! I would be really grateful for some feedback too because this seems to be the kind of musical direction I find myself heading in and I am still searching for my perfect audience. I know there is a "Boy @ Heart demographic" lurking out there somewhere. How many of you are there?
There is a part of you, a part of me and a part of everyone else that has got it in for you. I’m not being negative I just want to point out that we all have a side to us that maybe doesn’t quite believe enough in ourselves or our abilities to achieve the things we want to achieve. What is so clever about this "thing" is that it is so familiar to us that we don’t even realize that it has us trapped in it’s cage. Your shadow is there to protect you, but it’s protection is way too much. It’s that voice in your head that is just automatic and you simply accept it without questioning what it is. It tells you that you must play safe, not take risks, not follow your dreams. It’s the voice that tells you that you are about to potentially mess up famously and that it would be advisable to stop now and turn back and resume the normal, safe and uninspired proceedings of your everyday life.
It’s easy to see that a shadow is not real
The voice of your shadow is unrelenting. It only really stops when you are very present to the moment, which is why meditation is so good for raising the levels of your awareness, so you can catch it in the act and see that it is NOT YOU! Not the essence of who you really are and you can see that it doesn’t share your dreams or desires. It’s goals in life are boring compared to yours, so be strong, be bold, be big and above all: Don’t be afraid!
Enjoy!

Some rock bank could be on stage playing this song now and nobody could tell where it comes from. Great song my friend! I have meditated with Holosync for 5 years. I am at purification 2. I have stayed at this level for 2 years. When I started in 2004 I was in a big rush to get to the next level. Now I am no longer in a hurry with anything. I do feel that “Life is Good.” I believe Holosync is the biggest secret in the world. It is a privilege getting to know your work. Now I am going to listen to all your songs. Thanks. San
Thanks for the feedback San.
Its interesting to hear about your experience with Holosync too., It certainly helped me get into a regular meditative practice.
You may like to comment on another blog of mine http://www.neuralreconditioning.com where I write a Holosync diary with monthly updates.
Thanks again for your comments.
Be well (as Bill would say)
