Lurking deep in the sub-conscious is always a demon or two. This is what makes life such a test after all. Some demons are bigger and deeper rooted than others, some never get discovered, but play a big part in our everyday lives without us even knowing what or where they are, let alone how they got there.

I have grappled in the past with things that I wanted to be a certain way, but turned out the way I didn’t want them to and more recently I have been able to take responsibility for them as I get more insight into my own way of being in past situations. Sometimes I even get to witness a past event that had a lasting effect on me and how I perceived everything without me ever knowing what a grip it had over my way of being. Once this witnessing has taken place I then get to see it for what it really was: Simply an event, a chapter, nothing but another episode in the story of my life and it doesn’t take long to fall away and free up a chunk of energy that I am then able to channel into creating my life the way I desire it to be.

Of course. There are many of these blockages still residing and they are still standing in the way of certain things I want to achieve in life. In truth they are all choices I have made, so therefore they can only be unmade by myself and for me to do that I have to see them again, long after they have been forgotten and buried. The thing is though that, whilst they may be buried deep, they are far from forgotten because they are at the root of the subconscious programming and automatic behaviour that sees me create my reality every day. Sounds hopeless doesn’t;t it? Well what’s great about that is that my subconscious knows exactly where I need to release certain blockages in order to empower myself in the direction that I really want to go and all I need to do is keep asking it where to look next.

Of course, that’s where the difficulty comes in, seeing as the subconscious is not just someone I can sit down with and ask directly for answers. In order for me to get these answers and look in the right places I have to be on a level with my subconscious, which means turning down all that noise in my mind to the point where there is space for it’s voice to be heard, then the communication is instant, powerful and very enlightening. I find meditation helps me here tremendously, but it still seems to happen that I forget all of this the next day and have to remind myself again of how my life can be bigger. It’s a gradual thing and for me it is part of what living is all about; to remember all the things that I forgot as soon as I arrived.

Gotta Exorcise These Demons Somehow
Imagine what life could be without them, or at least without the ones that have the most grip over you. It is possible and I believe beyond them is the ability to create your life as you wish it to be, at will, effortlessly and for the good of all around you. I think we should all try exorcising our demons, because whatever you say… we all have at least one.

Enjoy!

    Exorcise those demons man!
  • Still exorcising! However it gets easier as you go along... Really.

The best way for me to do it is to keep working on new music. That approach is working pretty well for me right now.

    Thanks for stopping by.
