I’ve been under attack by some mystery illness for the last few days. Fever, aching (mainly in the kidneys), headaches and feeling so weak I could hardly lift my guitar.
Still, that is not a good enough excuse for neglecting the commitment to the songcast, so I made sure that I got something down. It’s nothing like I had imagined before I sat down to write today, but I like it. It’s very rough & ready, which I think is great.
I’m still feeling really ropey too, so this week’s song was actually a physical achievement as much as anything. Enjoy!
Alive - The word “Teerak†in the second verse, in case you’re wondering is a Thai word and it means “My Loveâ€. It has become one of the most frequently used words in my vocabulary, so it just had to make it into a song and may even make it’s way into more songs…
Unashamed acoustic pop song in 2 and a half mins. Nice. I thought you said T Rex in verse 2, but I was wrong. Instead you introduce yet another first in an English language song! you should write a song about T rex. All my windows exploded on the outro. Pop music ist gut.
